What Is Iridology?

Iridology is the science and practice of the analysis of color, patterns, and
structures in the iris of the eye revealing inflammation, where located, and in
what stage it is manifesting.
The eye has been examined for diagnostic purposes for centuries and still is
all around the world! The theory that the iris can give more precise information
about disease was first independently propounded approximately a century ago by
a Hungarian, Ignatz von Peczley, and a Swede, Nils Liljequist. Ignatz von
Peczely noticed in the iris of an injured owl a dark stripe in the lower area of
the eye appeared when it broke its leg. Later in 1866, von Peczely published a
book on the iris of the eye called "Discovery in the Realm of Nature and the Art
of Healing". Liljequist, also a discoverer of the role of the iris and its
markings, published a two-volume work which was translated into English and
called "Diagnosis from the Eye". In America, Dr. Bernard Jensen, DC is hailed as
the most accomplished Iridologist of recent years and was known for his healing
philosophy and writings in the area of Iridology.
How does it work?
Contained within the iris are thousands of nerve filaments, which receive
messages from virtually every nerve in the human body. Also contained are
microscopic muscle fibers and tiny blood vessels. In cooperation the nerve
filaments, muscle fibers and blood vessels duplicate tissue changes
simultaneously with reflexively associated organs of the body.
What do your eyes reveal?
-
Bodily conditions.
-
Inherent weaknesses.
-
The transition that takes place in a person's body according to
the way he or she lives.
-
They can register your emotional proclivities as well.
In terms of science, the experimentation of iris analysis is relatively new
and should not be used in isolation but as a comprehensive system coupled with a
medical history and other findings. It is not meant to diagnose diseases.
How can you benefit?
The purpose of Iridology is to determine the location of inflammation, the
stage of inflammation, how it was caused, and the steps necessary to overcome
it.
With this information a person can learn how to adopt a healthy lifestyle and
diet.
