Using Essential Oils for Your Skin!

Always mix essential oils in a base such as your bathing water or Nature's Sunshine Massage Oil for applying to the skin. The following can be used for aromatherapy for general skin care:

3 parts Chamomile
1 part Geranium
1 part Rose

Add 4 to 6 drops of this blend to bathing water or it can be used in a facial steam bath. For a facial steam bath add 3 to 5 drops of the blend to a large bowl of steaming hot water. With a towel covering your head, bend your face over the bowl. Close your eyes and allow the steam to rise into your face for about 5 minutes. The facial steam bath can also be used with essential oils to relieve respiratory congestion.

You can choose other essential oils appropriate for your skin type by following the table below.
